Blue Lady

Blue Lady is an art poster where the line drawing is supplemented with abstract details. This gives both depth and play to your art poster. I have drawn my inspiration from fashion illustrations, where both shapes and texture are crucial. Both have always fascinated me, and that is why I let them play freely in Blue Lady and A for Abstract . A for Abstract is a brother to Blue Lady. They are therefore created in the same shades and techniques. They hang beautifully as a pair, but can easily hang alone or combined with other art and interior. 

The craft behind Blue Lady

The work is created as a decoupage and illustration with black ink on white artist paper. The nuances are cool with contrasts of beige and black. The abstract details provide a counterpoint to the lighter and fine line, which helps to create an outline of the woman.

My abstract works are designed with impulsive strokes, which go well with the natural look, which is very much my source of inspiration. I therefore often choose shades in the natural color scale for my abstract works and art posters with color, which is also the case with the cool, black and beige shades in Blue Lady. The motif is printed on high-quality, heavy matte artist paper.
